Time for a family update. The kids have had a pretty full May. Nate had his testing in Tae kwon do. It is a different version than the one we all took back in Chicago. Over here, he is now a junior black belt. We had another "adventure", trying out the local modes of transportation, as the testing was at a Korean location and not on post. When we arrived via taxi, there were Korean children all over the place, waiting to test. It was a bit difficult for the American children who were there. They learn with a Korean teacher speaking English. All the commands during testing were given in Korean. Luckily, the testing was done in small groups, so they could see what the others were doing and could then do their own moves.

Teri has finished her time as a Brownie Scout. She bridged over to Junior Scouts last week.

Chris has graduated the Christian preschool they have here in Yongsan. It is the only Christian preschool on a military post in the world. We have been very fortunate - the school has been great!

Well, it looks like we may be moving after all. The decision has not been made, but two of the three courses of action have us moving down South to Taegu. Again, it is a beautiful area and not nearly as large. I will be working for my current boss, who is getting the command down there. We work well together and I have no doubt that I will enjoy the job. We will be separated at first, because we want the family to move down in time to adjust before school starts, while I will still have responsibilities up here until the end of August. Thankfully, I will be at my exercise location - Taegu - for a few weeks in the summer, so I will be able to see the family then.
Until next time....God bless! Mona
