Here are our two ball players! Nate is a member of the Indians and Teri is a member of the Diamondbacks. Both surprised us this year by deciding to play ball. This is Nate's first year. The coach says he has the best attitude on the team and is working hard to learn the game. While Teri played t-ball while we were in Chicago, she took last year off. Right after the season started, she decided she had enough of gymnastics and was ready for ball again. This year, she is in coach-pitch baseball. There are not enough girls and boys to have separate teams, so Teri's team has a mix.

Life continues to march on...
Nate had to take a physical recently and is officially 5'7". Hard to believe that with the way he is growing, he most likely will hit my height by the end of the year! He recently went on a 5 mile hike with the Boy Scouts and is doing very well in school.
Teri continues to do well in school and is enjoying Girl Scouts. She is in her last year in Brownies and will bridge over to Juniors at the end of the month.
Chris is finishing up his last year in preschool. We went to the elementary school a bit ago, and discovered that the kindergartners have their own playground. Chris was very excited to see a play firetruck as one of the pieces of equipment.
Joey had his 2 year well baby appointment. No shots this time - yeah! He is 3 feet tall and weighs 30 lbs. What amazes us is his verbal skills. The doctor asked if he was making 2-3 word sentences. This one will out-talk us all! He is learning to joke, too.
Chip has begun hitting the gym again. His shoulder is not bothering him like it was earlier. There is a Promise Keepers weekend event coming up next week that he signed up for. With the bulk of the men being the military member over here, there are not as many opportunities for the guys to get together.
I have bought my tickets for my brother Eric's wedding. I will be flying in to Rochester on 11 June and flying out on the 19th. My next job over here has been in flux the past two weeks, but it is leaning toward leaving us in our current area for the next two years. While the other job/area would be just as nice, it would be nice to stay in one spot for three years.

Hope all is well back in the States. We miss you and think of you often. God bless! Mona

Nice, Nate's now taller than me. Punk! You and your giant children (all of whom we miss). Glad all are well. Miss you and love you!

The scary thing is that he hasn't hit his growth spurt yet - this is normal for him! :o Mona

Looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks. Wish everyone could come but understand that isn't practical. Nate will probably be pushing 7 feet before high school ends! I am still looking for that baseball training tape for Nate. Hopefully I will be able to come for a visit by the end of the year, maybe Thanksgiving.
Much love, Mom
